Leeds United are looking to recall their loanee – The plan is for Daniel Farke to utilize him

Leeds United aim to have Largie Ramazani available for Daniel Farke next season.

The Belgian player transferred to the Premier League club from UD Almería for nearly €8m in August 2024.

At that point, Leeds United were competing in the Championship, and the player recorded seven goals and two assists across 31 appearances in his inaugural season.

The Whites achieved promotion to the top tier, but Ramazani did not remain at Elland Road. Instead, the English team allowed him to join Valencia on a season-long loan in August 2025.

He faced initial challenges and sustained an injury in October that sidelined him until December. Following this, the forward had to wait until February to make his first La Liga start for Los Ches.

This occurred after he netted a late winner against Espanyol in January. Since his first start, Carlos Corberán has frequently employed the Leeds United-owned player.

He has accumulated five goals and two assists from 22 matches for the Spanish team, and his per-game statistics in La Liga are as follows.

Expected Goals: 4.83

Expected Assists: 1.52

Big chances created: 2

Key passes: 0.7

Shots on target: 0.7

Goal conversion: 17%

Earlier this month, Sport Witness reported that Ramazani is a desirable option for Valencia next season. On March 12th, he declined to comment on his future plans beyond this season.

Leeds United are in a position of control

Marca has published a report regarding Valencia and the English club’s intentions for Largie Ramazani’s future.

His performances thus far have persuaded Los Ches to consider keeping him, but it will be challenging as there is no purchase option.

The absence of a purchase clause ‘jeopardizes’ the La Liga club’s chances of retaining the player.

Leeds United had previously set him aside and approved a loan move but are now impressed with his displays for Valencia.

Consequently, their ‘primary objective’ is for him to play a significant role for them in the Premier League next season. They currently sit 15th in the standings, four points clear of the relegation zone.

Simultaneously, a summer sale remains a possibility. Marca reports that Leeds United will contemplate selling him if they receive a sufficiently attractive offer.

Valencia is unlikely to keep Ramazani.

There is no indication of what the Elland Road club considers a satisfactory offer. Nevertheless, it seems that Valencia will struggle to meet that threshold. The financial difficulties faced by the Spanish club over the last decade have hindered their progress from where they should ideally be.

Another possibility is that Leeds United might approve another loan arrangement to Valencia during the summer. This would be ideal for Los Ches, but it currently seems improbable.

Largie Ramazani’s contract with Leeds lasts until 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his value at €8m. His perceived value has increased by €2m since his loan to Mestalla.

At 25 years old, Ramazani still has ample opportunity to succeed in the Premier League with Leeds United.
