Gabriel injury nightmare as Arsenal star is forced off for Brazil as face says it all…

Gabriel’s injury nightmare unfolds as the Arsenal star is compelled to leave the field for Brazil, and his expression reveals everything.

Arsenal faces a significant injury worry after Gabriel Magalhaes was spotted limping off during the international break while playing for Brazil.

During the November international break, Arsenal encountered a major injury issue when Gabriel Magalhaes was seen limping off in Brazil’s match against Senegal.

The centre-back appeared to be in considerable discomfort, clutching what seemed to be a groin injury on his right side.

Magalhaes and William Saliba have established a strong partnership at the Gunners in recent seasons.

The centre-back duo for Arsenal has allowed only five goals in the English top division this season, with their performances being crucial to Mikel Arteta’s team maintaining a four-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

The defensive partnership of the Gunners is widely regarded as the finest in English football as Arsenal aims for their first league title since 2004.

However, this solid partnership may now be jeopardized due to injury.

Gabriel was compelled to leave the pitch at the Emirates Stadium shortly after the hour mark, and Arteta will be anxious about the Brazilian’s fitness as the Gunners prepare for their return to action in the north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on November 23.

Gabriel’s face conveyed everything, and he expressed his frustration by covering his face with his shirt as he left the field.

This news follows another defensive injury setback, as Riccardo Calafiori had to end his international duty with Italy prematurely and return to London.

Reports from Italy confirmed that the defender left the Italy camp on Saturday, missing his country’s 2026 World Cup qualifier against Norway on Sunday evening.

He will now head back to London, where Arsenal doctors will evaluate him. Italy’s coach Gennaro Gattuso commented: “He tried to be available but he can’t force now,” regarding Calafiori’s condition.

It is thought that the medical team at Arsenal has been informed of Calafiori’s return to the city, and the club does not expect any significant issues.

In other developments, Norway’s head coach Stale Solbakken feels that Arsenal’s captain Martin Odegaard is still “some distance away” from making his own return.

Gabriel Jesus is also expected to return before the new year, after undergoing ACL surgery in late January.

At the same time, Viktor Gyokeres and Gabriel Martinelli are recovering from hamstring and groin injuries they sustained prior to the international break.
