Fabrizio Romano reports that Arsenal has received the “green light” to acquire a “machine” after reaching an agreement on terms.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal is on the verge of signing another player this summer, with sporting director Andrea Berta actively engaged in the transfer market following an already ambitious window.

Mikel Arteta has seen the Premier League title contenders finalize deals for Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, and most recently, Christian Norgaard.

The Gunners confirmed Norgaard’s signing on Thursday for an initial fee of £10 million, which could increase to £15 million if certain add-ons are achieved, as he joins to strengthen Arteta’s midfield in place of the departed Thomas Partey.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Christian to Arsenal,” Arteta stated regarding Norgaard’s signing.

“He is an international player with extensive Premier League experience. His proven leadership abilities and strong character will be invaluable to our team.

“He is a robust midfielder with outstanding tactical awareness and versatility.

“His physical presence and intelligence will provide us with additional depth and balance.

“Christian will contribute significantly to the group both on and off the field, and we are eager to begin working with him in this new chapter of his career. We extend a warm welcome to Christian and his family to Arsenal.”

The focus now quickly shifts to who will join the Denmark international at N5.

Arsenal is currently in advanced discussions to sign Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres, with negotiations progressing significantly, and it is reported that the 27-year-old is now on strike in an effort to facilitate his desired transfer to north London.

In addition, Arsenal has also engaged in discussions with representatives of Eberechi Eze, according to credible media sources, and a potential agreement for the England international playmaker is distinct from their pursuit of Chelsea winger Noni Madueke.

Earlier this week, after finalizing personal terms with the 23-year-old, Arsenal initiated formal discussions with Chelsea regarding the acquisition of Madueke, and it now seems that these negotiations have swiftly concluded.

Arsenal granted approval to acquire Noni Madueke with agreement finalized.

According to Romano and various reports, it is stated that Arsenal has successfully reached a comprehensive agreement for Madueke, in a transaction valued at over £50 million, including add-ons.

Arteta’s team has received the “green light” to secure the former PSV Eindhoven star, with Chelsea expected to realize a £20 million profit – just two years after he was brought in from the Eredivisie for approximately £30 million.

The forward, referred to as a “machine” by media representatives, was also recognized as one of Chelsea’s “top players” by Enzo Maresca last season.

Nevertheless, Madueke is now set to join the ranks of numerous transfers between the west London club and Arsenal, which undoubtedly raises significant questions about the long-term prospects of both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard – particularly if they also finalize a deal for Eze.
