Arsenal has reached a ‘full agreement’ to secure their seventh signing, with a Premier League star expected to wait a ‘few weeks’ for the deal to finalize.

According to reports, Arsenal is preparing to make an offer for Eberechi Eze after reaching a ‘full agreement’ for the Crystal Palace player on Saturday.

The Gunners have been quite active in the transfer market recently, having already signed Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Viktor Gyokeres, Cristhian Mosquera, and Noni Madueke this summer.

Additionally, Arsenal aims to acquire another attacking player before the transfer window closes, with Eze from Crystal Palace frequently linked to the club this summer.

Journalist Charles Watts, who has reported on Arsenal for many years, recently stated that the Gunners will look to offload some players before adding a left-sided attacker.

In his Caught Offside column earlier this week, Watts mentioned: ‘Once the Gyokeres deal is confirmed, I believe Arsenal’s focus in the market will shift towards moving some players out.

The squad appears somewhat overcrowded now, with several players likely to struggle for playing time next season.

‘Thus, Arsenal will aim to finalize some departures, potentially involving players like Fabio Vieira, Sambi Lokonga, Reiss Nelson, and possibly Oleksandr Zinchenko.

‘However, I still think there is room to bring in one more new signing before the window closes. There is still plenty of time left in the market, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Arsenal pursues further action.

‘We know they are exploring options for that left-sided attacking position, with Eberechi Eze, Rodrygo, and Anthony Gordon reportedly being of interest.

‘Whether Nwaneri’s new contract affects that, I’m uncertain, but I genuinely don’t believe it should.

‘Nwaneri is primarily a right-sided option, whether on the wing or in the central role typically occupied by Martin Odegaard.

French outlet Sports Zone has reported that Arsenal has reached a ‘full agreement’ to sign Eze and is ‘about to bid’ for the England international.

Arsenal Football Club has finalized an agreement with Eberechi Eze. The 27-year-old winger from Crystal Palace has been eager for a transfer for several weeks. Arsenal is preparing to make their first bid to Crystal Palace, or they are contemplating activating the £60m + £8m release clause.

Former Arsenal midfielder Paul Merson believes Eze possesses all the necessary qualities to thrive at the Emirates Stadium if he makes the move this summer.

Merson commented on Sky Sports: “That’s a deal I can envision happening, and it would be an excellent signing for Arsenal. He’s the ideal fit. Arsenal often struggle when teams come to the Emirates and park the bus.”

“Teams aim to restrict the space Arsenal can utilize, and they have found it challenging to penetrate defenses employing those strategies.

In my opinion, that’s where Eze comes into play. He has the X-factor and the skill to dismantle a low block.
