“Complete boss”: Martinelli sends a message to Arsenal star who achieved 100% aerial wins against Atletico Madrid

Arsenal maintained their remarkable start to the Champions League season with a commanding 4-0 victory over Atletico Madrid at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners entered the match on a five-game winning streak and showcased an outstanding performance against Diego Simeone’s team.

Viktor Gyokeres earned the man of the match award for his two goals in the second half, but in our opinion, Gabriel Magalhaes was the standout player.

The Brazil international opened the scoring with a brilliant free-kick from Declan Rice. He also played a significant role in Gyokeres’ second goal with a headed assist.

In addition to his goal contributions, the 27-year-old achieved an impressive 89 percent passing accuracy and won all of his aerial duels, making three clearances.

Following the match, Magalhaes took to Instagram to share his joy. Martinelli was among several Arsenal players who responded, commenting: ‘Complete boss’.

Magalhaes has emerged as one of the top central defenders in global football. He has consistently posed a scoring threat from set-pieces in recent years.

This season, the Brazilian has added another dimension to his game. With defenders marking him during corners, he has delivered two exceptional headed assists in the last two matches at the front post.

Leandro Trossard took advantage at the back post to score against Fulham on Saturday. Last night, it was Gyokeres who netted the Gunners’ fourth goal following Gabriel’s flick.

Arsenal will return to Premier League action against Crystal Palace on Sunday. Palace has a Conference League match on Thursday night before visiting the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners should be well-prepared for the London derby and have the chance to extend their three-point lead at the top of the table with a victory, depending on other results.
