Arsenal has submitted a £58 million bid to acquire a player whom Arteta believes is an ideal fit for the team; notably, he shares the same agent as Gabriel.

Arsenal has reportedly submitted a £58 million bid to acquire a key target identified by Mikel Arteta, who shares the same agent as defender Gabriel Magalhaes.

The Gunners have made a £58 million bid to bring in a star player whom Arteta views as a perfect addition; interestingly, the player has the same agent as Gabriel.

As the Gunners prepare for a significant summer under new sporting director Andrea Berta, they are looking to rectify missed transfer opportunities that have hindered their title aspirations this season due to injuries in the attacking lineup.

Berta is expected to be allocated a £300 million budget to enhance Arteta’s squad ahead of the 2025/26 season, with plans for up to seven new signings.

The club is seeking to secure a backup goalkeeper behind David Raya, as well as a left-back, a defensive midfielder, a left-winger, and a striker.

Initial discussions have already taken place with Athletic Club winger Nico Williams, while Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak is emerging as a primary target for the Emirates.

Fabrizio Romano recently commented on Arsenal’s pursuit of Isak, stating: “Newcastle continues to assert both privately and publicly that they wish to retain Alexander Isak.

They are aiming for a Champions League spot next season, but regardless, they want to keep Isak at the club. However, I can assure you that substantial offers will be made for Alexander Isak, as Arsenal is keen on him.

[Benjamin] Sesko is another name on the list, but Isak and Sesko are definitely the top priorities.”

In addition to Isak, Arsenal is also showing interest in Newcastle midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.

Both players contributed to Newcastle’s recent victory, securing their first trophy in 70 years by defeating Liverpool 2-1 in the EFL Cup final at Wembley.

Arsenal has submitted a £58 million (€70 million) bid to acquire Guimaraes from Newcastle, as reported by a Spanish outlet. The midfielder is considered a key target for Arteta and his team.

The Gunners believe Guimaraes is the ideal player to enhance their squad’s quality, with Arteta convinced that the Newcastle standout would represent a substantial improvement in their midfield.

While Newcastle aims to keep the 27-year-old for the upcoming season, the prospect of joining a promising project like Arsenal’s may be appealing to Guimaraes.

Manchester City has also shown interest in the midfielder and is preparing a £70 million offer, which means Arsenal might need to increase their initial bid to secure his signature.

Additionally, the fact that Guimaraes shares the same agency as Gabriel could work in Arsenal’s favor, making this situation one to monitor closely.
