Arsenal’s Predicted XI Against Nottingham Forest: Premier League Match Preview…
Arsenal’s anticipated lineup for the match against Nottingham Forest: Projected XI for the Premier League encounter.
Ahead of Saturday’s Premier League encounter with Nottingham Forest at the Emirates, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta faces several fitness concerns to evaluate.
The Gunners will be without Ben White for the remainder of the year due to a knee surgery, and Leandro Trossard is also expected to miss out after sustaining an injury while on international duty with Belgium.
Bukayo Saka and Declan Rice require assessments after withdrawing from the England squad, alongside Takehiro Tomiyasu (knee), Riccardo Calafiori (knee), and Kieran Tierney (hamstring).
Tierney has recently returned to team training as he nears his recovery, but for now, Oleksandr Zinchenko is likely to take the left-back position, with Jurrien Timber stepping in for White on the right.
The defensive trio of Gabriel Magalhaes, William Saliba, and David Raya is expected to remain intact, as are Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard, who withdrew from the Norway squad as a precautionary measure, in midfield.
Rice is anticipated to be cleared to start in the left eight position, although Mikel Merino made a notable impact off the bench against Chelsea.
Saka is also expected to feature on the right flank.
Raheem Sterling returns to the squad after being unable to play against his parent club two weeks ago, while Gabriel Martinelli is a guaranteed starter on the left.
Kai Havertz has found the net for all four of his Premier League goals this season at the Emirates.
Projected Arsenal Starting XI:
Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli.
