Arsenal’s Potential Lineup with Sesko: Arteta Faces a Major Dilemma with Kai Havertz…
Arsenal’s potential lineup could see Sesko joining the team, while Arteta faces a significant dilemma regarding Kai Havertz.
Arsenal is on the verge of signing a new striker this summer, with Mikel Arteta aiming for another Premier League title challenge.
Despite narrowly missing out on the crown this season, finishing just two points behind Manchester City, Arteta is determined to bolster his squad for the upcoming 2024-25 campaign.
Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig is reportedly set to join the Gunners in a £45million deal.
However, with Kai Havertz excelling in the No9 role towards the end of the season, Arteta faces a dilemma on how to accommodate both strikers in the team.

According to reports, acquiring a striker is Arteta’s main objective.
It has been rumored that RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko has agreed to a summer transfer, and the Gunners are now considering a £45million deal.
However, considering Kai Havertz’s impressive performance as a No9 towards the end of the season, it raises the question of how Arteta would integrate both players into the squad.

If Arteta decides to invest in Sesko, the forward, who impressively netted 18 goals for RB Leipzig this season, would likely secure a spot in Arsenal’s starting lineup.
Consequently, Havertz would either be shifted back to the midfield or potentially excluded from the starting eleven.
Throughout the season, the German international featured in 37 Premier League matches for Arsenal, primarily playing as a midfielder in 24 games alongside Declan Rice, while occupying the No9 position for the remaining fixtures.
In an attempt to field both Sesko and Havertz simultaneously, Arteta could even experiment with deploying the latter in an attacking midfield role alongside club captain Martin Odegaard.
Havertz has expressed his admiration for Arteta ever since he joined Arsenal. In a recent statement, he highlighted Arteta’s significant impact on his development as a player.
According to Havertz, Arteta introduced him to a whole new dimension of football, enhancing his skills on the field.
He expressed his gratitude for Arteta’s guidance and emphasized that the Arsenal coach is dedicated to improving his players, which sets him apart.
Havertz also mentioned that he had never encountered a coach who was as meticulous and knowledgeable as Arteta, constantly introducing him to new aspects of the game.
