Arsenal XI vs Tottenham: Expected lineup, confirmed team updates, and latest injury news for the Premier League.

This afternoon, Arsenal and Tottenham face off at the Emirates in the season’s first north London derby.

Currently, the Gunners are at the top of the Premier League following the last international break of 2025, while Spurs trail their rivals by eight points.

However, the Gunners have been hit by injuries during the break, raising concerns about several key players ahead of kick-off.

Gabriel Magalhaes exited Brazil’s friendly against Senegal last weekend with an injury, casting doubt on his availability for the derby.

It has now been confirmed that he has sustained a muscle injury in his right thigh, which is likely to keep the center-back sidelined for at least a month.

This is a significant setback for Arsenal, as the Brazilian poses a considerable threat during set pieces, contributing two goals and three assists this season.

Cristhian Mosquera is expected to step in as his replacement today. The summer acquisition from Villarreal impressed in the first team when he filled in for William Saliba earlier in the season, with Piero Hincapié also being a viable option.

Additionally, Arsenal is anxiously monitoring the fitness of Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber during the international break.

Calafiori was absent for Italy’s matches against Moldova and Norway and had not resumed training when Mikel Arteta addressed the media on Friday.

Martin Odegaard, Noni Madueke, and Gabriel Martinelli were believed to be in contention to return from injury today, but Arteta remained tight-lipped in front of reporters.

The Arsenal manager simply expressed hope that his recent absentees would be back, including Viktor Gyokeres, who was forced to leave the match against Burnley at the beginning of November, missing subsequent games against Slavia Prague and Sunderland.

Before the international break, Arteta mentioned that the club was still awaiting further information regarding the striker’s condition, with no additional updates provided since.

Arsenal’s starting lineup against Tottenham –

With Gabriel unavailable, Hincapie has demonstrated his readiness to step in when needed.

As Arteta remains tight-lipped about the fitness of other squad members, there is a lot of speculation surrounding our anticipated lineup.

However, any remaining uncertainty regarding Calafiori’s fitness might allow Myles Lewis-Skelly to join the team.

Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Hincapie, Calafiori; Eze, Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Merino, Trossard

Doubts: Calafiori (hip), Gyokeres (hamstring), Havertz (knee), Jesus (knee), Madueke (knee), Martinelli (groin), Odegaard (knee)
