Arsenal XI vs Liverpool: Expected lineup, confirmed team updates, latest injury news for today’s Premier League match.

Mikel Arteta is concerned about several key fitness issues ahead of the crucial showdown at Anfield.

Arsenal is facing multiple injury challenges before today’s significant Premier League encounter with Liverpool at Anfield.

Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, and Kai Havertz are all confirmed to be out due to injuries, but manager Mikel Arteta is also anxious about the fitness of four additional first-team players.

Ben White, Christian Norgaard, Leandro Trossard, and captain Martin Odegaard are all uncertain for the match against Liverpool, although social media reports on Saturday night suggested that the latter two had made the trip.

Saka is unavailable due to a hamstring injury sustained last week, but Arteta remains optimistic that the issue is not severe.

“Bukayo is improving, but he will be sidelined for a few weeks, unfortunately,” the Gunners manager stated.

“It’s not as serious as the previous hamstring injury. Clearly, he is quite unlucky to have sustained it, and it is on the opposite side.”

Eberechi Eze is set to make his Arsenal debut on Merseyside after training with his new teammates all week following a £67.5 million transfer from Crystal Palace last week.

“I am genuinely impressed with him,” Arteta remarked. “I have heard many positive things about him and have spoken to several people regarding his abilities.

“He has a bright personality. There’s a unique energy and aura about him. He is eager and is already absorbing a lot of information about what we want to see on the pitch.

“But most importantly, we need to ensure he has the freedom and ability to showcase his talent, which is why we signed him.”

Noni Madueke is set to start for the second consecutive match in Saka’s absence, this time positioned on the right wing.

Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Odegaard, Zubimendi, Rice; Madueke, Gyokeres, Martinelli

Doubts: Norgaard, Odegaard, Trossard, White
