Arsenal make complete U-turn on explosive £50m Man Utd star after ‘due diligence’…

Arsenal have reversed their position on the highly sought-after £50m Manchester United star following thorough evaluations.

Despite initial interest, Arsenal has opted not to pursue a transfer for Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho, as reported. This report also sheds light on Tottenham Hotspur’s perspective regarding the Argentine international, with TEAMtalk indicating the club he is most likely to join this summer.

Under manager Ruben Amorim, Garnacho’s future at Manchester United appears bleak, as the Portuguese coach informed the winger at the conclusion of last season that he is free to leave after expressing dissatisfaction about not starting in the Europa League final against Tottenham.

On July 4, reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano shared on X that Garnacho, along with four other players, has communicated to Manchester United his desire to depart.

With the summer transfer window closing on September 1, both Manchester United and Garnacho must act swiftly to finalize their separation.

Reports suggest that Arsenal could have provided a pathway for the dynamic Argentine winger, who has netted 26 goals and contributed 22 assists in 144 matches for the Red Devils.

According to The Manchester Evening News, Arsenal conducted thorough research on Garnacho but ultimately chose to withdraw their interest in the 21-year-old.

Instead, Arsenal secured winger Noni Madueke from Chelsea, while manager Mikel Arteta and sporting director Andrea Berta are also interested in Crystal Palace’s attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze.

Tottenham, Arsenal’s fierce north London rivals, also expressed interest in Garnacho but are currently negotiating with Manchester City for a deal involving Savinho.

Garnacho’s previous club, Atletico Madrid, considered re-signing the 21-year-old talent but opted instead for 24-year-old Spain international Alex Baena from Villarreal.

Last season, the winger made 58 appearances for Manchester United, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists during that time.

Chelsea is optimistic about securing Alejandro Garnacho – Sources.

While Arsenal, Tottenham, and Atletico do not consider Garnacho to be suitable for their teams, Chelsea believes that the Manchester United winger would be a wise acquisition.

TEAMtalk’s transfer correspondent, Rudy Galetti, has indicated that Chelsea has reached an agreement on personal terms with Garnacho.

Sources have informed TEAMtalk that the Argentine talent has expressed a strong desire to join only Chelsea this summer.

Manchester United is asking for £50 million (€58 million, $67.7 million) for Garnacho, but Chelsea is confident that the Red Devils will lower their asking price, with the Conference League and 2025 FIFA Club World Cup champions believing they can finalize the deal for £35 million (€40.6 million, $47.4 million).

However, John O’Kane argues that his former club, Manchester United, must remain steadfast on their valuation of Garnacho.

The ex-Man Utd defender has pointed out the transfer fee that Nottingham Forest is paying Manchester City to acquire James McAtee, who is a year older than Garnacho and has significantly less experience in the Premier League.

O’Kane posted on X at 8:48 am on August 15: “McAtee just went for around £35 million and hasn’t played or achieved anything comparable to Garnacho..

“Manchester United needs to hold firm on this one!!! £50 million plus add-ons at a minimum.”

Latest Arsenal news: Star in demand, Rodrygo stance.

An Arsenal player is attracting interest, with as many as three clubs eager to sign him, and the north London team is also prepared to sell him.

TEAMtalk’s transfer insider, Dean Jones, has disclosed why Arsenal is reluctant to pursue Eberechi Eze, as Tottenham Hotspur is now confident about finalizing a deal for the Crystal Palace star.

A report has detailed how Rodrygo perceives a potential transfer to Arsenal during the summer transfer window, with Real Madrid imposing a significant price on him.
