Arsenal formation (4-3-3) for the clash with Brentford has been determined, along with a decision concerning Calafiori. With Gabriel Jesus starting, there are two important modifications to the team.

Arsenal is set to face Brentford away tonight, aiming to narrow the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool.

The Gunners have secured consecutive victories in the league but remain nine points behind Arne Slot’s team.

A win against the Bees would provide an opportunity to lessen that deficit, and we expect a few adjustments to the lineup.

Formation: 4-3-3

Projected Line-up:

David Raya has been a reliable presence in goal for Arsenal, achieving his seventh clean sheet of the season last weekend.

He is anticipated to retain his position as the starting goalkeeper.

We foresee one alteration in the defense. Miles Lewis-Skelly has been a standout performer in the last three matches, notably contributing to the 1-0 victory over Ipswich Town.

However, manager Mikel Arteta may opt for Riccardo Calafiori at left-back, as his physicality could be advantageous against Bryan Mbeumo.

Jurrien Timber is likely to maintain his role at right-back, while William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes are expected to anchor the central defense for the London club.

In midfield, Arteta might seek additional defensive stability against Brentford’s high-pressing style.

Thomas Partey could be introduced to partner Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard, with Kai Havertz potentially shifting to the number nine position, leading to Leandro Trossard’s substitution.

Gabriel Jesus has been in exceptional form, netting five goals in his last three appearances.

He is expected to start on the left wing, while Gabriel Martinelli will likely occupy the right flank.

Martinelli has demonstrated impressive crossing skills from the right side and is set to have an extended opportunity in the absence of the injured Bukayo Saka.
