An exceptional player worth £51m, praised by Pep Guardiola, has made the decision to join Arsenal…

A highly talented player valued at £51m, who has earned high praise from Pep Guardiola, has expressed his desire to move to Arsenal – according to a journalist.

Following their unsuccessful pursuit of Benjamin Sesko, Arsenal is now focusing on securing a midfielder who can work well alongside Declan Rice.

In addition to this, acquiring a new left-back is considered a top priority, and there is a possibility of adding a new wide-forward to Mikel Arteta’s squad.

However, the most crucial deal remains signing a new number six, someone who can surpass Jorginho and potentially replace Thomas Partey.

Arsenal may consider signing a number eight, but Arteta’s preference is to keep using Rice in a more advanced role.

On the other hand, Joshua Kimmich from Bayern Munich is a player who could significantly improve any team he joins.

Reports suggest that Kimmich is eager to be a part of Arteta’s project at Arsenal, especially in a summer where he could potentially leave the Bundesliga.

German journalist Florian Plettenberg revealed that Kimmich has been given the green light to depart from Bayern and is interested in a move to Arsenal.

The Belgian is looking to change the direction of his midfield by targeting Fulham’s Joao Palhinha, who was previously linked with Arsenal.

After discussing Kimmich’s role, the journalist emphasized that the German is eager to join Arsenal, as well as four other clubs.

Plettenberg revealed: “Joshua Kimmich may depart from FC Bayern as early as this summer!

“Kimmich, the team captain and a regular starter, could leave the club if the right offer comes along. Bayern has no plans for a contract extension beyond 2025.

“Vincent Kompany has different plans for the central midfield. Joao Palhinha remains the preferred target!

“A separation between Kimmich and Bayern is becoming more likely. It could happen now or at the latest next year. Kimmich is open to entering the final year of his contract.

“He is only interested in joining Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, or Barcelona.”

Kimmich, the captain and regular starter, is open to leaving the club if a suitable offer comes in. Bayern has not made any plans for a contract extension beyond 2025.

Arsenal must do everything in their power to prevent Kimmich from joining Manchester City, despite the potential benefits of having him in their own squad.

Pep Guardiola has praised Kimmich as ‘outstanding’ and believes he could improve City’s starting eleven immediately.

In addition to his midfield prowess, Kimmich has also proven himself as one of the best right-backs in the world, showcasing his skills while playing alongside Kai Havertz at Euro 2024.

Considering Arsenal’s need for reinforcements at full-back, a move for the £51m-rated Kimmich seems crucial from multiple perspectives.

However, with the focus on the Euros, Micah Richards has highlighted an area where William Saliba needs to enhance his game.
