Manchester City faced a surprising 3-3 draw in the Champions League, compounding their recent struggles.

Brian Priske, the manager of Feyenoord, has urged Liverpool to capitalize on the opportunity after inflicting another setback on Manchester City.

City’s troubling form persisted as they squandered a three-goal lead against the Dutch team, having previously lost five consecutive matches.

This latest result adds to their woes.

Arne Slot, now at the helm of Liverpool after leaving Feyenoord in the summer, is likely pleased with his former club’s performance.

The outcome places additional pressure on City ahead of their Premier League clash at Anfield on Sunday, where Liverpool currently holds an eight-point lead at the top of the table.

Guardiola has acknowledged that if the gap widens to 11 points, catching up with Liverpool will be nearly impossible.

Priske expressed his appreciation for the squad he inherited from Slot and hopes to assist Liverpool in their efforts.

In an interview with Amazon Prime, Priske remarked, “I’m sure he [Slot] is proud. As a former Feyenoord manager, I know he’s keeping an eye on us.

“We’ve certainly done everything we could to support him.

“He made a significant impact during his three years at the club, providing me with a solid foundation and Champions League qualification.”

“I’m really pleased that we could contribute, and now he needs to take care of business this weekend.”

Liverpool will be in Champions League action tonight as they host Real Madrid at Anfield.
