Arne Slot may have only FOUR GAMES left to secure his position as the Liverpool board has provided him with the ultimate opportunity to retain his job.

Liverpool manager Arne Slot is reportedly facing a critical situation, with just three matches to save his position following a poor start to the season.

The Dutch coach has overseen the club’s worst beginning to a Premier League season in 33 years, and the pressure is mounting for him to maintain his role. Initially, there was considerable excitement surrounding his appointment, but that enthusiasm is quickly diminishing.

Slot on the brink of dismissal

As reported by The Mirror, Slot effectively has ‘Four games to save his job.’ Although the Feyenoord Rotterdam manager is said to have the ‘full backing’ of Liverpool’s management for now, it is understood that they will ‘evaluate the situation and the team’s progress’ after the next three matches.

The report further indicates that despite privately expressing confidence in Arne Slot, Liverpool’s football leadership has previously given similar reassurances to other managers before ultimately deciding to terminate their contracts.

In contrast to these reports, other sources suggest that Liverpool might choose to retain the Dutch manager for a longer period, as it would be financially burdensome to dismiss him within the first year of his contract at Anfield.

The Reds are set to face West Ham, Sunderland, Leeds United and Inter Milan in the upcoming weeks, and if they fail to achieve positive results before their match against Brighton on December 13, Arne Slot could be dismissed.
