Arsenal XI vs Nottingham Forest: Expected lineup, confirmed team updates, and latest injury news for today’s Premier League match.

Mikel Arteta may opt for a change in the attacking lineup as the Gunners aim to get back to winning form.

Eberechi Eze is set to make his first start for Arsenal this afternoon as Nottingham Forest visits, while William Saliba remains a possibility to feature.

Eze, who transferred to Arsenal from Crystal Palace in a deal exceeding £60 million last month, made his debut for the Gunners at Anfield two weeks ago.

The attacking midfielder came on as a substitute for the last 20 minutes in Merseyside, but was unable to prevent Arsenal from suffering a 1-0 loss.

This weekend, Eze could potentially replace Gabriel Martinelli on the left side of the attack.

Arsenal will certainly be without Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus for the match against Forest due to knee injuries.

Bukayo Saka will also be absent as he recovers from his latest hamstring problem, although Mikel Arteta mentioned on Friday that Saliba had resumed training following the ankle injury that caused him to leave the game early at Anfield, with a final decision pending on his participation.

Noni Madueke is expected to start in Saka’s place, while Cristhian Mosquera is the likely candidate to step in if Saliba does not start after his impressive performance off the bench at Anfield.

Ben White has been sidelined for the last two matches due to injury but is anticipated to return to the squad on Saturday.

Christian Norgaard has not played since pre-season, but he has been back in training this week.

Deadline-day acquisition Piero Hincapie is expected to be included in the squad and may make his debut for Arsenal.

Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori; Odegaard, Zubimendi, Rice; Madueke, Gyokeres, Eze

Doubtful: Saliba

Injured: Saka, Havertz, Jesus
