Tottenham vs Crystal Palace possible line-up : Maddison and Son set to start for Spurs as Ange Postecoglou set to miss two stars…

Tottenham will be without Richarlison for approximately a month due to a knee injury sustained in their previous match against Wolves. This comes as another setback for the team, as Pedro Porro is also sidelined.

However, there is some positive news as Destiny Udogie is fit and available for selection. In light of Richarlison’s absence, Spurs captain Heung-min Son is expected to take on the role of the team’s main attacking threat, starting with the upcoming match against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Heung-min Son, the captain of Spurs, is expected to take over Richarlison’s role as the main attacking focal point under Ange Postecoglou. This change is likely to begin with the match against the Eagles on Saturday.

In terms of the wide positions in the front three, Dejan Kulusevski, Timo Werner, and Brennan Johnson are the probable contenders.

While Pedro Porro is still a week away from returning to training, Emerson Royal is expected to continue as the right-back. On the other hand, Destiny Udogie, who missed the 2-1 defeat to Wolves, is back in training and should make a comeback on the left side of defense.

Postecoglou will have to make a decision in midfield, where Yves Bissouma, Pape Sarr, and Rodrigo Bentancur are currently leading the competition for two spots. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp, and Giovani Lo Celso are also in contention for those positions.

Ryan Sessegnon has been ruled out for the remainder of the season due to another hamstring surgery, while Manor Solomon is still facing delays in his return to training following surgery complications.

Projected Tottenham lineup (4-2-3-1): Vicario; Emerson, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie; Bissouma, Sarr; Kulusevski, Maddison, Werner; Son.

Question marks: Udogie

Unavailable: Richarlison, Porro, Sessegnon, Solomon, Forster

Kickoff time and date: 3pm on Saturday, March 2, 2024

Location: Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
