Bukayo Saka, the Arsenal winger, has emphasized that his team has taken valuable lessons from the disappointment of their unsuccessful bid for the Premier League title in the 2022/23 season.

Following their impressive 3-0 triumph over Brighton on Saturday night, Saka expressed his confidence that Arsenal will not repeat the same mistakes.

The victory saw Saka, along with Kai Havertz and Leandro Trossard, find the back of the net, propelling the Gunners to the top of the table.

Currently, they hold a one-point lead over Liverpool, who are scheduled to face Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Saka, the playmaker, expressed his optimism after the win at the Amex, stating that the team is thrilled and motivated. He emphasized the importance of learning from last season’s errors and ensuring that they do not repeat them. The team’s improved performance and mindset make them ready for every game this season.

After narrowly missing out on the title to Manchester City last season, playmaker Saka is confident that the team has the necessary qualities to succeed in the league and is determined not to repeat the same mistakes.

Following their victory at the Amex on Saturday, Saka expressed his excitement, stating, “We’re all buzzing inside. This win puts us back on top and we’re gaining momentum.”

He acknowledged that last season had its challenges but also served as a valuable learning experience. Saka emphasized the importance of closing out games like the one they just played, as they had struggled with conceding late goals and having to defend in the past.

Saka praised the team’s collective effort, from the goalkeeper to the striker, highlighting the hard work of players like Kai Havertz. He emphasized the team’s mindset of going into every game with the intention to win, stating, “That’s the mentality we must have.”

Looking ahead, Saka expressed confidence in the team’s improved comfort level and overall strength. He believes they are well-prepared for each game and ready to secure victories.

Arsenal have managed to secure five straight clean sheets on the road in the league, a feat not achieved since 1997, as they strive for success in the Premier League.

However, their focus will shift to the Champions League on Tuesday as they prepare to take on Bayern Munich in the quarter-final first leg.
