Arsenal starting XI against Tottenham remains the same for the North London Derby.
Arsenal’s predicted lineup, confirmed team news, and latest injury updates for the upcoming Premier League match against Tottenham.
The availability of Jurrien Timber is the main uncertainty for the North London derby.
Mikel Arteta, Arsenal’s manager, expresses excitement about the tough decisions he faces in selecting his squad for Sunday’s North London derby.
Arsenal is heading into the Tottenham match with a mostly healthy squad, with Jurrien Timber being the only player in doubt due to a knee injury sustained in the first Premier League game of the season.
After the training session tomorrow, Arteta mentioned that a decision will be made regarding the team lineup. He expressed that it is a close call and it might come a bit too early for this particular decision.
However, considering the impressive performance in the previous match against Chelsea, Arteta might be tempted to stick with the same side.
Nevertheless, there is a possibility of making changes, and Jorginho is one of the players hoping to be included in the starting lineup instead of Thomas Partey.
Additionally, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli are also in contention for the left flank position, potentially replacing Leandro Trossard.
Arteta acknowledged that it is a positive dilemma to have, as all the players are eager to contribute and start for the team. He understands their desire and mentioned that they are fully prepared to step onto the pitch and help the team win matches in any way necessary.
The team spirit is commendable, making the decision even more challenging for Arteta.
