Tottenham 3-6 Liverpool: Player evaluations as Mohamed Salah shines, propelling the Reds to the top of the table this Christmas.

Liverpool emerged victorious against Tottenham with a 6-3 scoreline, thanks to an exceptional performance from Mohamed Salah, who played a pivotal role in placing the Reds at the summit of the league as the festive season begins.

Liverpool solidified their lead in the Premier League standings with an exhilarating 6-3 victory against Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

The Reds surged ahead with goals from Luis Diaz and Alexis Mac Allister, establishing a 2-0 lead within the first 36 minutes, before James Maddison responded for the home side.

Dominik Szoboszlai then extended Liverpool’s advantage just before the interval, and after halftime, Mohamed Salah’s two goals contributed to a commanding 5-1 lead for the visitors.

Despite efforts from Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke to bring Spurs back into contention, Diaz netted his second goal in the 85th minute to seal the match.

As a result, Liverpool now sits four points clear at the top as they head into Christmas, while Spurs find themselves in 11th place, seven points behind the Champions League spots.
