Ian Wright has highlighted a promising talent emerging at Liverpool, stating that the player “seems to have everything.”

According to Ian Wright, there is a developing talent at Liverpool who seems to embody all the essential attributes.

Following a relatively straightforward victory over Bournemouth on Saturday, Liverpool appears to be regaining its form in the Premier League.

While the 3-0 scoreline may suggest an easy match, the Reds were not in serious danger of repeating their disappointing defeat to Nottingham Forest the previous week.

Several players from the Liverpool squad delivered impressive performances that contributed to the win.

Gabriel Agbonlahor specifically mentioned four Liverpool players who stood out at Anfield, with most of Arne Slot’s team looking closer to their best.

Once again, Ryan Gravenberch was among those who shone. The Dutch midfielder is making a strong case for being Liverpool’s standout player this season, effectively controlling the midfield against Bournemouth.

Despite Gravenberch’s recent consistency indicating he could be Liverpool’s long-term solution in defensive midfield, pundit Ian Wright noted that there is still one aspect he wishes to see from the Reds’ No.38.

Wright commented on Gravenberch’s impressive transformation at Liverpool, as the 22-year-old has quickly evolved from a peripheral figure to a crucial player in just six matches.

With ongoing speculation about Liverpool potentially pursuing Martin Zubimendi in the upcoming transfer windows, Gravenberch is doing everything possible to prove that the Spaniard is no longer a necessity.

Liverpool’s adherence to this mindset will likely become clearer in the upcoming months.

However, according to Wright, the Reds may have actually gained an advantage from Zubimendi’s decision to turn them down during the summer transfer window.

During his appearance on The Kelly & Wrighty Show, the former Arsenal striker noted that the gap left in the midfield has allowed Liverpool to discover a valuable asset in Gravenberch.

Wright also expressed a desire to see the former Ajax player perform against the top teams in the Premier League before making any definitive judgments.

“You could argue that Zubimendi’s rejection has led them to uncover a gem in Gravenberch,” the pundit remarked.

“When you observe those matches, we certainly want to see him compete against the top three or four teams. If he continues to deliver such performances, it would indicate that Liverpool has indeed struck gold, as he possesses all the necessary attributes.”

Ryan Gravenberch is set to receive a break from Liverpool’s lineup.

While he faces competition, it is evident that Gravenberch has been Liverpool’s standout player under Arne Slot thus far.

Not only has the Netherlands international demonstrated significant improvement, but he has also consistently ranked among the top three players in nearly every match.

Having quickly established himself as a key player for Slot, Gravenberch is now due for some rest.

Last season, he frequently started in the Carabao Cup and the Europa League.

However, as Liverpool prepares for their match against West Ham on Wednesday, Gravenberch is not included in the predicted starting XI. This alone highlights his progress. If anyone deserves a break when the Hammers visit, it is Ryan.
