Richarlison recently reached out to Gabriel Magalhaes on Instagram, sending him a message accompanied by a photoshopped picture.
The incident occurred during the North London derby where the two Brazilians found themselves in a heated altercation. Despite Arsenal’s victory in the game, the altercation almost escalated into a physical confrontation.
However, after a few days have passed, both players have had the opportunity to calm down. Now, Richarlison appears to be making amends by extending an olive branch to his fellow Brazilian teammate on Instagram, in an effort to resolve any lingering issues between them.
Richarlison and Gabriel Magalhaes, in a way, share similar playing styles for Tottenham and Arsenal, respectively.
They both exhibit a high level of commitment on the field in order to secure victory for their teams, which is why they have garnered immense support from their fans.
During the recent North London derby, Richarlison initially began as a substitute and witnessed his team fall behind 3-0 against their rivals, Arsenal.
However, when he entered the game in the final 26 minutes, he displayed a determined attitude and appeared focused on aiding his team in making a comeback.
Towards the conclusion of the match, Richarlison aggressively collided with Gabriel, resulting in the defender being knocked to the ground. Following the final whistle, the two athletes engaged in a heated exchange.
Adding to the tension, the Tottenham player shared a TikTok video created by a supporter with the caption: “Brazil’s top striker Vs Brazil’s least preferred CB.” (Express)
However, Richarlison appears to have recognized the need to cease the conflict with Gabriel. The former Everton player edited images of himself and Gabriel to show them wearing a ‘Union T-shirt’ with a message that read:
The post was accompanied by the caption: “United in solidarity, my companion!”
“Union T-shirt. If you fight, you have to apologise, give each other a hug and say I love you.”
He captioned the post by writing: “We are together my partner!”
