Liverpool have reportedly made a groundbreaking bid to secure the services of a versatile star, offering a weekly wage of £275,000. The offer is said to be a record-breaking one, showcasing the club’s determination to bring in top talent.
Liverpool has reportedly made a groundbreaking bid of 150 million euros to acquire the talents of Federico Valverde from Real Madrid, as stated by Spanish media sources.
El Debate has revealed that the Reds have been monitoring the Uruguayan player for four years and are determined to make him part of their team.
Sources have indicated that Liverpool is eager to secure Valverde’s signature and has put forward an offer of approximately 150 million euros through intermediaries.
Nevertheless, Valverde has expressed his loyalty to Real Madrid, stating that he is content as a Madridista at the Bernabeu.
The 25-year-old is considered one of the most versatile midfielders in global football, excelling in defensive, creative, and attacking roles.
The talented South American player, who earns a weekly wage of £275,000, is under contract with Real Madrid until 2029.
Valverde has achieved success with Los Blancos, including a crucial assist in the Champions League final against Liverpool two years ago.
Having featured in 28 league matches this season for the Spanish league leaders, the 56-time capped international has been directly involved in 8 goals under Ancelotti.
Liverpool’s current highest-paid player is Valverde’s fellow countryman, Darwin Nunez, who joined Anfield from Benfica for 100 million euros in 2022.
