Arsenal is set to make an offer for a £63m forward within the upcoming days, having already engaged in discussions at London Colney.

It is anticipated that Arsenal will soon make a bid for one of the top strikers in Europe.

Arsenal is set to make a move for a new striker in the near future.

Following unsuccessful talks with RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, the Gunners are now turning their attention to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.

Reports suggest that Arsenal will be submitting a bid for the Nigerian forward in the coming days.

As you may be aware, RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, who was believed to be Arsenal’s primary target as Mikel Arteta seeks a new striker, has chosen to remain with the German club.

Now, Edu’s focus is shifting towards other options, and Arsenal is preparing to make an offer for an alternative…

Arsenal expected to submit bid for Victor Osimhen.

According to a report from Area Napoli in Italy, Arsenal is set to submit a bid to acquire Napoli’s No.9, Victor Osimhen, within the next few days.

The Italian news outlet reaffirms that Arsenal initially had their sights on Sesko, but will now turn their attention to the Nigerian international following the Slovenia international’s decision.

Napoli has not disclosed the exact amount of money that Arsenal will offer for Osimhen.

However, the report does mention that Arsenal will not activate his £102m release clause. Instead, they will submit a bid that is lower than this figure.

Additionally, the Italian news outlet states that Napoli would find it easier to negotiate with PSG and Saudi Pro League sides, as they are willing to offer more money. However, Osimhen himself desires a move to the Premier League.

It is reported that the Nigerian striker, who was born in Lagos, is anticipating an approach from Arsenal.

Osimhen, who was signed by Napoli from Lille for €75m (£63m) in July 2020, had an impressive performance last season, scoring 17 goals in 32 appearances. In total, he has scored 76 goals in 133 games for the Italian giants.

The speculation surrounding a potential bid from Arsenal for Osimhen has gained momentum, particularly after Charles Watts revealed in March that the player’s agent had already held talks with the Gunners at London Colney. We believe that Osimhen would be an excellent addition to Arsenal’s squad, especially considering their need for a prolific striker.

An imminent bid from Arsenal is being discussed following reports that the 25-year-old’s agent has already held talks with the Gunners at London Colney, as mentioned by Charles Watts in March.

Nigeria international Osimhen could be the perfect fit for Arsenal as their striker. Last season, Arteta’s team lacked a ruthless No.9 who could score goals in difficult situations, someone who could create chances out of nothing and lead the attack effectively.

Neither Gabriel Jesus nor Eddie Nketiah managed to fulfill these requirements, scoring only 14 goals combined. They also lack the physical presence to trouble defenders and create space for players like Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard.

On the other hand, Osimhen is a dynamic forward who runs tirelessly, pressuring opponents constantly. His goal-scoring ability, demonstrated by his impressive record at Napoli, could provide the solution Arsenal needs.
