Arsenal has three more signings in the pipeline after wrapping up the Riccardo Calafiori deal.

After completing the Riccardo Calafiori deal, Arsenal is looking to make three more signings.

Arsenal set to secure three additional signings following completion of Riccardo Calafiori deal.

Arsenal appears to be on the brink of finalizing the acquisition of Riccardo Calafiori, with the deal expected to be completed in the coming days or even hours.

The pursuit of Calafiori has faced obstacles due to negotiations between Bologna and Basel, which included a significant sell-on clause.

However, this setback is unlikely to deter Mikel Arteta and his squad, as they prepare to add one of the standout talents from this summer’s Euros to their ranks.

Calafiori is set to complete his Arsenal medical soon, following which Edu and the transfer team will shift focus to other targets.

Once the Italian’s signing is officially announced by Arsenal, the question arises – what’s next for the club?

Standard Sport has shed light on Arsenal’s plans, revealing that they are aiming for a minimum of three additional signings.

As per the report, Arsenal are still in the market for a new midfielder, another forward, and are also looking to strengthen their goalkeeping department.

Arsenal is eyeing Mikel Merino as their top choice for a midfielder, with the club making efforts to secure his signature.

Meanwhile, Joao Neves from Benfica has also caught their attention.

However, Paris Saint-Germain seems to have the upper hand in the race for Neves, who may be out of Arsenal’s price range.

Despite this, there is a possibility that Arsenal could reignite their interest in Martin Zubimendi, who has not shown strong enthusiasm for joining the club but could potentially be convinced later on.

When it comes to acquiring a new forward, Arsenal’s pursuit of Benjamin Sesko seems like a distant memory now.

During that period, the Gunners were rumored to be interested in several center-forwards, as it was believed that Arteta was looking to boost his team’s goal-scoring capabilities.

Brian Brobbey was also mentioned as a potential target for Arsenal, and he could emerge as a more realistic option compared to Sesko and Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak.

However, if the club decides to focus on signing a winger instead, Arteta has expressed his desire to bring Nico Williams to Arsenal.

On the other hand, Barcelona is currently putting all their efforts into securing the signature of Williams.
