Milan is currently engaged in negotiations to finalize a deal with Real Madrid’s €8 million star.
Real Madrid is actively preparing for a major overhaul during the upcoming summer transfer window, aiming to bring in top-tier talents such as Kylian Mbappe. As part of this revamp, midfielder Dani Ceballos, who has fallen out of favor, is expected to depart.
Despite signing a new contract last summer, Ceballos has faced difficulties in securing regular playing time under Carlo Ancelotti.
These challenges have been attributed to a combination of injuries and strong competition within the team. With only 503 minutes played across 21 appearances this season, Ceballos has made the decision to explore opportunities elsewhere.
Real Madrid appears willing to facilitate his departure by setting a relatively modest asking price of €8 million. This figure is notably lower than the fees received for academy players in the past.
Despite being in his prime years at 27 and having three years remaining on his contract, Los Blancos seem prepared to offload him at a discounted rate.
AC Milan is considering the possibility of signing Ceballos to strengthen their midfield. Real Betis and Atletico Madrid, Ceballos’ former club and city rivals, are also rumored to be interested in the Spanish midfielder.
As the summer transfer window nears, Ceballos’ exit from Real Madrid seems likely, but his final destination is still unknown.
