Paris Saint-Germain is in search of a replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is rumored to be leaving for Real Madrid.

One player they are eyeing as a potential replacement is a 27-year-old from Liverpool. Mbappe’s departure seems imminent, and PSG is actively looking for a suitable replacement to fill the void left by the French star.

It is widely anticipated that Kylian Mbappe will depart Paris Saint-Germain and make a move to Real Madrid during the upcoming summer transfer window. As a result, PSG is now faced with the challenge of finding a suitable replacement, and they have set their sights on a player from Liverpool.

Mbappe’s potential transfer to Carlo Ancelotti’s team has been a subject of constant speculation, and it appears increasingly probable that it will materialize this summer. The French national team captain is seeking a fresh start, and Real Madrid is among the select few clubs capable of securing his services.

PSG has suffered a significant blow with the departure of a player who has been instrumental in their success. With an impressive record of 246 goals in 295 games for the French giants, along with 105 assists, this loss will undoubtedly be felt. Even in the current season, the player in question, Mbappe, has managed to score 34 goals in 35 PSG games, in addition to providing seven assists.

While there have been previous rumors linking Mo Salah to PSG, it seems that the French side has set their sights on a different target this time. According to El Pais, PSG is now interested in Colombia’s star player, Luis Diaz.

Diaz has showcased exceptional performance this season, despite facing personal challenges. His resilience in the face of adversity, including his father’s kidnapping and subsequent release, has been commendable. His form on the field has been nothing short of excellent.

PSG’s desire to acquire Liverpool’s star player, Luis Diaz, as a replacement for Kylian Mbappe is evident. In Liverpool’s recent seven Premier League matches, Diaz has been directly involved in six goals, scoring three and creating three. Liverpool currently holds a favorable position regarding his future, as his current contract is set to expire in June 2027.

The willingness of Liverpool to entertain the idea of Diaz’s departure remains uncertain, as does the potential transfer fee that PSG would have to pay. However, it is worth noting that Liverpool is aware of PSG’s financial capabilities, given the imminent sale of Mbappe to Real Madrid under Ancelotti’s management.

PSG is not the only club interested in Diaz, who has recently been praised as “absolutely amazing” by Gary Neville. AC Milan and Barcelona have also expressed their desire to acquire the talented winger. Nevertheless, it is expected that Liverpool will be determined to retain Diaz’s services.
