Negotiations are intensifying as Liverpool’s offer was accepted on Tuesday, and now the club must finalize an agreement with the player.

Negotiations are at a critical stage, with Liverpool’s offer accepted on Tuesday. The focus now shifts to finalizing a deal with the player.

On the same day, Calciomercato.it reported that Liverpool is poised to compete with Barcelona for Federico Chiesa, having initiated discussions with Juventus.

Later, SportMediaset revealed that the Reds are preparing to make an initial bid of approximately €15 million.

Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio noted that both Liverpool and Barcelona maintain their interest in the 26-year-old winger.

There have been informal discussions between the Merseyside club and Juventus, although details regarding Barcelona’s pursuit of Chiesa remain unclear.

On Tuesday, Juventus’ technical director Cristiano Giuntoli, along with his assistant Giuseppe Pompilio and head of scouting Stefano Stefanelli, met with Chiesa’s agent, Fali Ramadani.

TuttoMercatoWeb also reported that Juventus officials and the agent dined together to deliberate on Chiesa’s future, highlighting that “Chiesa-Liverpool, the negotiations are very hot.”

The report indicates that Liverpool presented an offer of €15 million on Tuesday, which Juventus has approved, leaving the Reds to negotiate terms with the Italian international.

Chiesa is seeking a resolution after being excluded from Thiago Motta’s plans, and TMW suggests he is receptive to joining both Liverpool and Barcelona, who remain interested.

If Barcelona does not act swiftly with an offer, Arne Slot’s team may find it easier to secure Chiesa’s signature.

Juventus is optimistic about reaching a resolution for the player, and it remains uncertain whether he will ultimately sign with Liverpool or Barcelona.
