Milan is on the verge of finalizing an agreement for Emerson Royal.
AC Milan are close to finalizing the transfer of Brazilian full-back Emerson Royal from Tottenham Hotspur.
The negotiations are in the final stages, and an official announcement is expected soon.
According to reports from Calciomercato, Milan have been in intense discussions with Tottenham to speed up the deal.
A crucial meeting took place at Casa Milan two days ago between Milan’s directors Moncada and Furlani, and Emerson’s agent Castagna, resulting in a complete agreement on personal terms and agent fees.
Emerson’s representatives are currently working to convince Tottenham to accept Milan’s financial offer.
Milan has proposed €14 million plus €3 million in bonuses, while Tottenham is looking for €15 million guaranteed plus €3-4 million in add-ons.
The focus of the current discussion revolves around the arrangement of these bonuses, as the parties have not come to a full agreement on this matter.
Nevertheless, the transfer is not in question and is believed to be nearing its final stages.
Milan’s pursuit of Emerson Royal has gained momentum after Alessandro Florenzi sustained a serious knee injury during a recent friendly against Manchester City.
The Brazilian right-back is viewed as a perfect addition to Paulo Fonseca’s team.
