Mikel Arteta is determined for Arsenal to target a winger with 101 goals and assists, who will be available for a pre-contract signing in January.

Arsenal is looking to strengthen its squad ahead of the upcoming transfer window. The potential signing aligns with Arteta’s vision for the team’s future.

Mikel Arteta has a strong desire for Arsenal to secure the signing of winger Leroy Sane, who has made 101 goal contributions and assists.

He will be available for a pre-contract agreement starting in January.

Fans anticipating positive transfer news for Arsenal on Friday morning were likely pleased.

The dynamic Bayern Munich winger, Sane, is reportedly a key target for Arteta as the January transfer window approaches.

At 28 years old, Sane presents an attractive opportunity for top European clubs, especially since his contract is set to expire on June 30, 2025.

The German international, who has contributed 21 goals in 65 appearances for his national team, is well-equipped to meet the challenges of the Premier League due to his previous experience.

However, it remains uncertain whether Bayern Munich can negotiate a deal that would keep him at the Allianz Arena, where he has recorded 101 goal contributions in 183 matches.

In Premier League transfer news, it appears that Sane will not be moving to Newcastle United.

This is disappointing for Newcastle, as reports suggest that they are not an appealing option for the former Manchester City player.

Conversely, Arsenal may find a promising opportunity in the market. With Sane eligible to negotiate with foreign clubs starting January 1, Vincent Kompany and his team should be cautious.

Christian Falk noted in his Fact Files column for CaughtOffside’s Daily Briefing, “We previously discussed that Newcastle is not a viable option for Leroy Sane due to their lack of Champions League football, which seems unlikely to change in the near future.

“However, there are new rumors regarding Arsenal’s interest, which should be taken seriously!

“When he was at Manchester City, Sane’s family was not entirely happy in Manchester and had always dreamed of living in London. Therefore, Arsenal would align perfectly with their aspirations.

“The first option for Sane is to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich, but they are not close to an agreement, and from January 1, he can sign with any club.”

Arsenal transfer news: Mikel Arteta shows interest in Leroy Sane.

According to Bundesliga expert Christian Falk, there is a possibility for former Manchester City player Leroy Sane to join Arsenal under the management of Mikel Arteta at the Emirates Stadium.

“Mikel Arteta is believed to have a strong interest in him; he was keen last year when a transfer was not feasible, but the situation has changed.

The Gunners are now competing in the Champions League, and Arteta is familiar with Sane from his time working alongside Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. This creates a significant connection,” Falk noted.

“This represents a major opportunity, aside from Bayern Munich, that could facilitate Leroy Sane’s return to the Premier League.”

This potential transfer aligns perfectly with Sane’s aspirations.

Arsenal has established itself as a consistent contender for Champions League qualification and has demonstrated its capability to compete for significant domestic titles.

Sane would also enhance the competition within the attacking lineup, particularly allowing Bukayo Saka the chance to rest and rotate during a busy schedule.

Even if the north London club considers a relatively modest transfer fee, it appears to be a logical decision for Edu and the recruitment team.

However, they may need to act swiftly, especially if Manchester United’s reported interest is genuine.

Arsenal might not have the luxury of waiting until the summer transfer window of 2025.
