As Liverpool prepares for the first Merseyside derby of the season, they will be missing several key players.

The Premier League leaders had their winning streak interrupted by a thrilling 3-3 draw against Newcastle on Wednesday, yet they still hold a seven-point advantage over Arsenal and Chelsea.

However, Arne Slot faces a challenging situation ahead of the team’s final league visit to Goodison Park.

Midfielder Alexis Mac Allister will be unavailable for the Everton match due to suspension after receiving a yellow card against Newcastle, bringing his total to five for the season.

In addition to Mac Allister, Slot is already without defenders Ibrahima Konate, Conor Bradley, and Kostas Tsimikas, while Alisson Becker, Federico Chiesa, and Diogo Jota are still working on regaining their fitness.
