Liverpool is set to welcome a star player with a weekly salary of £150,000 as The Italian international accept to join the Reds…
Reports indicate that a player with a weekly salary of £150,000 has chosen to sign with Liverpool and is ready to negotiate the terms of the contract.
Reports indicate that Federico Chiesa has made the decision to join Liverpool from Juventus ahead of the summer transfer window’s closure.
The Italian international is in the final year of his contract with Juventus, who are eager to finalize his departure before the deadline on Friday.
According to today’s edition of The Daily Mail, Chiesa has expressed a strong desire to move to Liverpool, contingent upon reaching an agreement with Juventus, who are seeking approximately £13 million for his transfer.
The British media outlet has also noted that Liverpool is in discussions to finalize a four-year contract with the talented playmaker.
David Ornstein from The Athletic reported last night that Liverpool is prepared to meet the necessary conditions to secure Chiesa’s signing before the transfer window closes at 11 PM on Friday.
Investing £13 million in the former Fiorentina player is a deal Liverpool cannot overlook, reminiscent of their acquisition of Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City in 2018 for a similar fee.
Chiesa has demonstrated versatility throughout his career, capable of playing on both flanks, as a secondary striker, or even as a central forward.
While Arne Slot has sufficient talent in the left wing and striker positions, he lacks adequate cover for Szoboszlai in the No. 10 role and Salah on the right.
Thus, Chiesa’s arrival, with a weekly salary of around £150,000, would significantly enhance Liverpool’s offensive depth. Stay tuned for the latest updates on this transfer situation.
