Having progressed through the youth ranks at the Basque club, the 22-year-old has emerged as one of La Liga’s top left-wingers in recent years.

Last season, he made a significant impact with 16 goal contributions in 31 league matches, playing a crucial role in helping his team secure a fifth-place finish and a spot in the Europa League.

Williams was also instrumental for the Spanish national team during their European Championship victory this summer, scoring the opening goal in the final against England, which ended in a 2-1 win for Spain.
