Liverpool is competing for the signature of a Bayern Munich star worth £80 million, while also contending with Manchester City.

Liverpool is in the midst of a fierce battle with Chelsea and Manchester City for the £80 million Bayern Munich star.

The current transfer rumors surrounding Liverpool are heating up as the team aims to strengthen its squad this summer under new manager Arne Slot.

With Slot at the helm, Liverpool is preparing for a new chapter, and all eyes are on the upcoming summer transfer market.

The Reds are gearing up for an exciting period with a new manager in charge for the first time since Jurgen Klopp took over from Brendan Rodgers in October 2015.

On August 17, Slot’s team will kick off their Premier League campaign against Ipswich Town, hoping for a strong start to the season.

In addition to their preparations, Liverpool is closely monitoring Jamal Musiala’s situation at Bayern Munich, as he reportedly sees the Premier League as the next step in his career.

Germany has scored two goals at Euro 2024, showcasing the impact of their aggressive midfielder.

Despite turning down a £150,000-per-week contract from Bayern, Musiala is considering other options. Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly interested in the German star.

The 21-year-old is expected to cost at least £80 million, with two years remaining on his current Bayern contract. His weekly salary is estimated to be around £200,000.

Reports suggest that Liverpool is eyeing Wolves left-back Rayan Aït-Nouri, with interest also coming from Man City and Chelsea, as per Algerian media outlet La Gazette du Fennec.

Aït-Nouri, 23, is reportedly looking to take the next step in his career by joining a Champions League team.

He was a key player in Wolves’ defense last season, making 38 appearances as the team finished 14th in the Premier League.
