Liverpool has made a bid to acquire the £54.4 million forward, and a decision has been reached.

An offer has been submitted by Liverpool for the £54.4 million attacker, with a decision now finalized.

Liverpool has made a significant offer to acquire a £54.4 million attacker as they prepare for the potential departure of star playmaker Mohamed Salah on a free transfer next summer.

Recent media reports indicate that the Reds have approached Brazilian right winger Rayan Vitor Simplicio from Vasco Da Gama to strengthen their attacking options.

However, it appears they may be outpaced in the race for his signature, with Barcelona currently leading the pursuit.

According to E-Noticies, the 18-year-old forward has turned down Liverpool’s proposal and opted to join the Catalan club instead.

Simplicio has a release clause of approximately £54.4 million in his contract, which is set to expire in December of next year, but he is anticipated to transfer to Barcelona for a lower fee.

The report suggests that Barcelona plans to secure his signing for around 18 million euros.

The La Liga leaders initially targeted Nico Williams to bolster their wide positions, but after the Spaniard chose to remain at Athletic Bilbao, they have shifted their focus to Simplicio, effectively closing the door on their pursuit of Williams.

Additionally, there have been rumors linking Mohamed Salah, who has been in exceptional form this season, with a move to Barcelona.

In light of these developments, who do you believe Liverpool should target as a replacement if the Egyptian star departs the club next year?
