Liverpool FC Injury Update: Darwin Nunez, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, Ibrahima Konate – Luis Diaz and Trent Alexander-Arnold back in training as Liverpool receive triple injury boost.

Liverpool’s starting lineup looking stronger with the return of Trent Alexander-Arnold and another player following the injury updates.

The Reds are gearing up for their upcoming match against Brighton as they aim for a treble this season. Despite a long injury list, including key players like Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, Ibrahima Konate, Thiago Alcantara, and Joel Matip, Liverpool is pushing forward with positive news on the fitness of Diaz and Alexander-Arnold.

In the first part, available here, we provided updates on Diogo Jota, Curtis Jones, Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ben Doak, and Stefan Bajcetic.

Diaz’s fitness has been a topic of discussion since Jurgen Klopp mentioned a groin injury sustained against Man United, and a recent update has surfaced.

The 27-year-old has been deemed fit for Colombia’s friendly against Spain at the London Stadium tonight (8.30pm UK), but there is more to the situation.

Liverpool has reportedly emphasized the need for Diaz to be managed carefully to prevent any further aggravation of the injury.

Nunez (thigh), Diaz (groin), and Gakpo (ankle) all suffered injuries in the lengthy defeat to arch-rival Manchester United, with Nunez withdrawing from Uruguay duty during this international break. However, it is believed to be a precautionary measure, and he is expected to be fit for the squad on the 31st.

Regarding Diaz (Colombia) and Gakpo (Netherlands), both have joined their national teams, so unless any unexpected issues arise, they should be available for the match against the Seagulls.

Konate was expected to be fit to play against United but unfortunately, he did not recover in time. However, he should be ready for the next match. The situation is more serious for Joel Matip and Thiago Alcantara, as they are not only out for the season but also for their Liverpool careers.

Real Madrid is keeping an eye on the injury updates of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Stefan Bajcetic.
