Karim Benzema has expressed his willingness to join Arsenal, but with one condition.
Karim Benzema is willing to make a move to Arsenal, but with a single requirement. Gunners have been exploring other options in the transfer market, such as Ivan Toney from Brentford and Victor Osimhen from Napoli.
However, the price tags for these players have proven to be too high for Arsenal. Chelsea is also facing similar challenges in finding a suitable striker within their budget.
While there were initial rumors linking Benzema to Manchester United, it seems that the Red Devils are not actively pursuing the French international at the moment.
Former Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is attracting attention from Arsenal, who are considering a January transfer for the player.
Despite currently playing for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Professional League, Benzema is reportedly unhappy in the Middle East and wants to return to Europe.
While Chelsea has also shown interest in the 36-year-old, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen on acquiring a proven goalscorer to bolster his attacking options. Benzema, who is second on Real Madrid’s all-time scoring list, has scored an impressive 354 goals for the club.
Arsenal’s interest in Benzema is contingent on being able to secure him on loan, as they have been priced out of the market for other targets such as Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen. Similarly, Chelsea is facing difficulties finding a player within their budget.
Manchester United, initially linked with Benzema, is not actively pursuing the French international at the moment.
While Erik ten Hag of Manchester United is reportedly searching for an experienced striker, it appears that Arsenal and Chelsea are the frontrunners for the services of the Real Madrid legend.
