Jurgen Klopp has stated that he plans to return to Anfield, regardless of whether the next manager approves of it or not.

Jurgen Klopp has expressed his unwavering commitment to Liverpool FC by stating that he will return to Anfield to watch matches, regardless of whether the next manager welcomes his presence in the stands.

However, it is important to note that Klopp’s remarks were not intended to convey any animosity towards the future manager.

Instead, he highlighted his unique approach to his relationship with Liverpool, which differs from his experiences at Mainz and Borussia Dortmund.

During an interview with Sky Sports, Klopp referred to this approach as “Liverpool 2.0.” He emphasized that Liverpool 2.0 will continue even after his departure, signifying the start of a new project for the club.

That’s the situation. That’s what we accomplished, we have a truly strong team. In my opinion, it was an exceptional period.

It will be extremely difficult not to be involved in the same way as I am now – because I will still be involved, I will.

I will attend matches, and if the next manager doesn’t want me in the stands, this time, I won’t be bothered.

I doubt he will, but it was somewhat similar when I was at Mainz – and I was at Dortmund at that time, so you don’t go as a Dortmund manager to watch Mainz matches.

Then I moved from Dortmund to Liverpool, didn’t have the opportunity to go back to Dortmund – so I will go there and watch football matches as well.

Klopp’s commitment to Liverpool extends beyond just his coaching role. In fact, he has expressed his unwavering support for the club by stating that he will even attend the victory parade if Liverpool secures the league title next season.

This declaration solidifies his dedication to the Reds, making it clear that he is a lifelong member of the Liverpool family.

Following the retirement of Bill Shankly, there were some complications with Bob Paisley having to distance him from the club, resulting in an informal ban from Melwood.

However, Klopp has assured that no such issues will arise with Arne Slot, indicating a more inclusive and welcoming environment at Liverpool.

Before his arrival at Liverpool in 2015, Klopp had an impressive tenure at Dortmund. Over the course of seven years, he led the German side to the Champions League final, clinched two Bundesliga titles, and secured the German Cup.

Prior to his time at Dortmund, Klopp spent seven years at Mainz, initially as a player-manager before transitioning solely into a managerial role in 2001.

Klopp has become a legend at every club he has led. He expressed, “Having spent the past nine years the way I have, I wouldn’t alter a single moment. I wouldn’t dwell on ‘what ifs’ or ‘should haves’. I was in the perfect place at the perfect time, truly amazing.”

Jurgen, you will always have a place at Anfield!
