Mo Salah has made significant remarks regarding his contract situation and his experience at Anfield following Liverpool’s victory over Manchester City.

After the triumph over Man City, Mo Salah swiftly comments on his contract with Liverpool and reflects on his experiences at Anfield.

In the 2-0 win, Salah contributed to both goals, assisting Cody Gakpo’s first-half opener with an accurate cross and later converting a penalty to secure the second goal with just 12 minutes left on the clock.

This performance has brought his season tally to 13 goals and 11 assists in 20 matches.

However, the 32-year-old forward’s contract is set to expire in June, and discussions with the club have yet to yield an agreement, raising concerns about his future with Liverpool.

After the match, Salah shared his thoughts with Sky Sports (via BBC Sport), stating, “Honestly, it’s in my head.

Until now, this is the last City game I will play for Liverpool, so I was just going to enjoy it.

The atmosphere was incredible, and I will savor every moment here. Hopefully, we can win the league, and then we will see what happens.”

Reflecting on the Anfield atmosphere, he added, “It’s very special. I don’t take it for granted.

I’m enjoying every minute here. It feels like home.

Scoring at Anfield and winning games is always a unique experience.

The fans supported us from the very beginning, and I’m pleased we secured the victory, knowing that City would come at us.”
