Emmanuel Petit is calling on the former Man Utd player to consider joining Arsenal on a ‘free transfer.’

Emmanuel Petit has expressed his desire for the ex-Manchester United star to transfer to Arsenal without any cost.

Emmanuel Petit has encouraged former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to consider a remarkable return to the Premier League by joining Arsenal.

At 31, Pogba is eager to revitalize his career after his four-year doping ban was reduced to 18 months following an appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

He will be eligible to resume training in January 2025 and can return to competitive play in March.

After rejoining Juventus in the summer of 2022, following a six-year tenure at Manchester United, Pogba has only made 12 appearances for the Italian club.

Petit anticipates that Pogba will leave Juventus next summer as a free agent and believes that a move to Arsenal could help him rejuvenate his career and restore his reputation.

The former Arsenal midfielder, who also celebrated World Cup success with France, urged the Gunners to consider Pogba, asserting that he would seamlessly integrate into Mikel Arteta’s midfield.

“Paul Pogba will be available on a free transfer at 32 years old,” Petit stated in an interview with Jeffbet. “I can hardly recall the last time I saw him genuinely happy.

“Pogba is driven by a desire for redemption; he wants to demonstrate to himself and fans worldwide that he still has much to offer.

“France has missed his presence. He is reportedly working diligently to regain his match fitness. I understand Pogba’s character; he will do whatever it takes to return to the field.

“Honestly, Arsenal should definitely take a chance on signing Paul Pogba. He will give his all on the pitch.

“It may take him a few weeks to reach peak fitness, but his eagerness to clear his name is invaluable to a manager like Mikel Arteta.”

Pogba would be an excellent addition to Arsenal’s midfield, given his height, strength, and creativity.

A content Pogba is a remarkable player, and he thrives on support and confidence. I believe Arteta and the club can provide him with the environment he needs to flourish.

Bacary Sagna, another former Arsenal player, shares the sentiment that the Gunners should pursue a remarkable deal for Pogba, who has made 233 appearances for Manchester United during two separate tenures at Old Trafford.

“The Premier League is a great fit for Paul Pogba, and I would be thrilled to see him at Arsenal,” Sagna recently expressed to Paddy Power.

“It would be fantastic—he brings valuable experience and enjoys playing alongside younger teammates, which is when he performs at his best.

“During the 2018 World Cup, he was at his peak efficiency, surrounded by friends.

“Arsenal boasts a youthful and dynamic squad, and I can envision him excelling in their colors. The fans will embrace him wholeheartedly.

“This is a chance for him to start anew—after some time away from the game, he will return with a renewed passion to play and succeed.”

Pogba made headlines as the most expensive player in history when he rejoined Manchester United for £89 million in 2016, yet he faced challenges in consistently showcasing his talent at Old Trafford.

Following the reduction of his doping ban, Pogba remarked, “Finally, the nightmare is over. I can look forward to pursuing my dreams once more.

“I have always maintained that I never intentionally violated World Anti-Doping Agency regulations when I took a nutritional supplement prescribed by a doctor, which does not enhance the performance of male athletes.”

I conduct myself with integrity, and while I acknowledge that this is a strict liability offense, I would like to express my gratitude to the judges of the Court of Arbitration for Sport for considering my explanation.

This has been an incredibly challenging time for me, as everything I have dedicated myself to has been put on pause.
