Benjamin Sesko has given the green light to a potential move to Arsenal, with the Gunners lining up a £45m deal for the talented forward.

Arsenal are now leading the race to secure the services of the highly-rated Slovenian striker, as Sesko reportedly favors a switch to the Emirates amidst interest from several top clubs.

The 20-year-old has attracted attention from the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Italian clubs, but it seems that Arsenal is his preferred destination.

This development comes as a significant boost for Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who is keen on adding a young striker to his squad to complement the likes of Kai Havertz.

Sesko, who celebrates his 21st birthday this Friday, fits the profile of a player who can grow and thrive under Arteta’s guidance.

RB Leipzig are open to selling Sesko this summer, provided the right offer is made, despite the striker only joining the club last year.

The player’s agent, Elvis Basanovic, has been spotted at Arsenal matches this season, indicating a genuine interest from both parties in making this transfer happen.

Sesko has been selected for the Slovenia squad in the Euros and will be facing England in the Group stages during the tournament in Germany this summer.

Standing at 6ft 5in, he boasts an impressive goal record and has caught the attention of Arsenal, who have been closely monitoring and scouting him throughout the season.

In addition to Sesko, Arsenal has also shown interest in Ajax star Brian Bobbey, although there have been rumors linking Brighton’s Evan Ferguson to the club.

However, both Brentford’s Ivan Toney and Newcastle striker Alexander Isak are no longer being considered.

While Arsenal is not expected to make any high-profile signings this summer, they are actively searching for a promising No9 and a winger.

Additionally, they may pursue a midfielder if Thomas Partey decides to leave.

Although Arsenal will have funds available for transfers, they anticipate some departures from the squad.

Players such as Aaron Ramsdale, Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, and Emile Smith Rowe are potential candidates for exits, and Bayern Munich is closely monitoring the situation regarding Oleksandr Zinchenko.
