Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, identifies an Ajax defender and a 27-goal star as his primary transfer targets.

Arsenal’s transfer targets have been revealed as Mikel Arteta sets his sights on Ajax defender Jorred Hato and 27-goal star.

LondonWorld has learned that the club is looking to strengthen their defensive options by targeting Hato and Nice centre back Jean-Clair Todibo this summer.

Despite having a strong defensive partnership with William Saliba and Gabriel, Arteta’s team is keen on adding more depth to their backline in the upcoming transfer window.

Gabriel is reportedly close to signing a new contract, while players like Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Jakub Kiwior have also featured at left back this season.

Hato, an 18-year-old player, has showcased remarkable consistency for Ajax throughout this season. He primarily operates as a left-footed center back but is also capable of playing as a left-back.

Todibo, a French defender, has garnered interest from Premier League clubs such as Manchester United and Liverpool. He is eager to secure a transfer away from Nice during the upcoming summer transfer window.

In the meantime, Arsenal continues to show interest in Viktor Gyokeres as a potential solution for their striker position in the upcoming summer.

Gyokeres has been in impressive form, scoring 27 goals and providing 10 assists in the Portuguese top flight this season. Arsenal is just one of the many teams keen on acquiring the services of this talented forward.

He informed A Bola, “Remaining for the next season? In football, it’s the usual scenario, and I cannot guarantee anything.”

“I genuinely enjoy being here, but in football, things change rapidly, and we must adjust accordingly.”

“I cannot make numerous forecasts; it’s challenging. We still have games left this season, and only then will we assess the situation.”

As Arsenal, under Arteta’s guidance, approach their final two Premier League matches against Manchester United and Everton, they aim to secure their first Premier League title since 2004.
