On Tuesday night, Arsenal emerged victorious in the Champions League quarter-finals by defeating FC Porto on penalties at the Emirates Stadium.
Despite suffering a 1-0 loss in their initial encounter, the Canaries managed to equalize with a solitary goal. Leandro Trossard was the scorer of the only goal in the game, paving the way for Mikel Arteta’s team to secure the win through successful penalties, with David Ray netting two goals.
Following their triumph over the formidable Portuguese opponents, Arsenal eagerly awaits the upcoming draw on Friday, hoping to secure their first-ever Champions League victory. The draw will determine the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final stages, taking place after the conclusion of the last 16 matches.
The draw is scheduled for 11.00am in Switzerland and is open to all teams. There are no restrictions based on rankings or countries, meaning Arsenal could potentially face Manchester City in the upcoming round.
The first leg of the quarter-final matches will take place on 9-10 April, with Arsenal playing away against Brighton & Hove Albion and at home against Aston Villa. The second leg will follow the next week, preceding the away match against Wolves.
