Arsenal XI vs Sheffield United: Confirmed lineup team news, injury latest for Premier League today…

‌Arsenal is set to welcome back Thomas Partey for their Premier League match against Sheffield United tonight, providing a boost to the team.

However, there are still concerns over the fitness of Oleksandr Zinchenko and Takehiro Tomiyasu, who will undergo late tests to determine their availability.

The latter duo are both grappling with calf injuries ahead of their visit to Bramall Lane on Monday evening and were unable to participate in training for a significant portion of last week.

“We cannot confirm their availability just yet, as we will have to wait and observe,” stated Gunners manager Mikel Arteta on Friday. “We will have a clearer picture after the final two training sessions on Saturday and Sunday. If all goes well, they might be fit to play on Monday.”

Furthermore, Arsenal can expect the return of Partey to the squad tonight, marking his first appearance since October. The Ghanaian midfielder has been sidelined due to a thigh injury, but he has now fully recovered and is prepared to make his long-awaited comeback.

“According to Arteta, Thomas has undergone multiple consecutive sessions after his previous one before the last game. As a result, he is expected to be included in the squad on Monday. On the other hand, Jurrien Timber has started participating in first-team training, but he is not yet prepared to play.

Arteta mentioned that Jurrien’s integration has been positive, with the physios and medical staff pleased with his attitude and commitment. However, it is not a mere coincidence that he is still not close enough to be part of the squad on Monday.”
