Arsenal XI vs Manchester United: Predicted Lineup, Team News, and Injury Updates on Gabriel Magalhaes as Manchester United Faces Key Suspensions
Ahead of the clash between Arsenal and Manchester United, we present the expected lineup for Arsenal, along with updates on team news and Gabriel Magalhaes’ injury status, while Manchester United will be without two significant players due to suspensions.
Ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Manchester United, Arsenal is concerned about the fitness of several players.
The Gunners were missing Mikel Merino, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Thomas Partey during Saturday’s victory over West Ham, and Gabriel had to leave the match at halftime.
Manager Mikel Arteta is scheduled to hold a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, where he will provide updates on these players.
However, Arteta will certainly be without Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu for the upcoming match, as both full-backs are sidelined with knee injuries and are not expected to return soon.
Since the international break last month, Arsenal has secured three consecutive victories, scoring 13 goals in the process. This success may lead Arteta to hesitate in making changes to a winning lineup.
Gabriel Martinelli is a potential candidate to return to the starting eleven on the left wing, possibly replacing Leandro Trossard.
If fit, Thomas Partey could rejoin the midfield, although Jorginho performed admirably in his absence against West Ham.
The defense has remained consistent over the last three matches, but Oleksandr Zinchenko is vying for a starting position after a strong performance off the bench at the London Stadium.
Predicted Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Saka, Havertz, Martinelli
Injuries: Tomiyasu (knee), White (knee)
Doubts: Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly, Merino, and Partey
