Arsenal XI vs Fulham: confirmed lineup, team news, and latest injury updates for Premier League clash

Arsenal is facing uncertainty regarding the fitness of key defenders Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori ahead of their Premier League match against Fulham.

Both players were absent during Wednesday’s 2-0 victory over Manchester United.

Gabriel has been dealing with an issue that caused him to leave early in last week’s matches against Sporting and West Ham.

Calafiori has just returned from a knee injury and was substituted during the game against West Ham.

“We have a few,” Arteta mentioned regarding the injury situation on Friday. “It’s matchday minus two, so we need to adjust a few players.

“We have another training session tomorrow [Saturday], so we will assess everyone then. It’s challenging to provide clarity until after that session.”

Arsenal arrives at Craven Cottage in strong form, having won four consecutive matches across all competitions.

Should Calafiori and Gabriel be fit to play, Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko may be sidelined.

Arteta might also consider altering his attacking lineup. Gabriel Martinelli had a challenging performance against Manchester United, while Leandro Trossard impressed after coming on as a substitute.

The Belgian forward could be in line for a starting position against Fulham on Sunday, as Arteta looks to rotate his squad during this busy period.
