Arsenal XI vs Crystal Palace: Anticipated lineup and latest team updates.

Arsenal XI vs Crystal Palace: Riccardo Calafiori returns, Thomas Partey likely to start as Mikel Arteta implements four changes.

For the clash with Crystal Palace, Arsenal’s formation (4-3-3) includes Riccardo Calafiori’s return and Thomas Partey in the starting role, as Mikel Arteta opts for four changes in the squad.

Following a midweek victory, adjustments may be made for the weekend match.

Gabriel Jesus aims to retain his position as Arsenal faces Crystal Palace in the Premier League later today.

Jesus delivered an impressive hat-trick against Palace on Wednesday night, contributing to Arsenal’s 3-2 win that secured a spot in the Carabao Cup semi-finals.

While there is a possibility that Kai Havertz could replace him, Arteta may be inclined to keep Jesus in the lineup.

Despite a challenging season, the striker’s recent performance could signify a resurgence in form.

Arsenal is set to welcome back Declan Rice and Riccardo Calafiori to the squad after their absence on Wednesday.

During his Friday press conference, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed, “They are both available to be in the squad.”

Oleksandr Zinchenko is also a candidate for selection, although Ben White and Takehiro Tomiyasu will remain sidelined due to knee injuries.

Arteta noted, “No Tomiyasu and Zinchenko is probably available as well. I think he (Zinchenko) could be available.”

The return of Calafiori and Zinchenko may result in Myles Lewis-Skelly losing his position at left-back.

Jurrien Timber is anticipated to start at right-back, with Gabriel and William Saliba forming the central defense.

In midfield, Martin Odegaard and Thomas Partey are expected to join Rice, while Bukayo Saka is likely to return to the starting lineup after being benched on Wednesday.

Arteta faces a decision regarding the left wing, with both Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard competing for a starting role.

Projected Arsenal XI (4-3-3): Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Saka, Jesus, Martinelli

Injuries: Tomiyasu (knee), White (knee)

Arsenal’s lineup includes: Neto, Raya, Setford; Calafiori, Gabriel, Heaven, Kiwior, Saliba, Tierney, Timber, Zinchenko; Havertz, Jorginho, Lewis-Skelly, Merino, Nwaneri, Odegaard, Partey, Rice; Jesus, Martinelli, Saka, Sterling, and Trossard.
