Arsenal is prepared to part ways with Gabriel Jesus as Edu eagerly awaits an offer following his transfer journey.

Arsenal are considering parting ways with Gabriel Jesus, who could be leaving the club just two years after his move from Manchester City.

The Brazilian striker’s playing time has been limited due to injuries, and with Kai Havertz excelling in the center-forward role, Arsenal are open to offers for Jesus this summer.

Despite having other attacking options in mind like Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen, and Viktor Gyokores, the Gunners are still looking to strengthen their frontline.

Jesus has struggled with injuries this season and the emergence of Kai Havertz as a key center-forward has raised questions about his future at the Emirates.

According to The Athletic, Arsenal are willing to entertain offers for Jesus at the conclusion of the current season, as he has slipped down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta.

While the Gunners may not urgently require a traditional center-forward like Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen, or Viktor Gyokores, they are still keen on adding another attacking option to strengthen Arteta’s frontline.

Jesus or Eddie Nketiah may need to be transferred to free up funds and space in the squad for new additions. The Brazilian forward’s playing time has been limited this season due to fitness concerns stemming from a knee injury sustained at the 2022 World Cup.

Edu recently visited Saudi Arabia, where he reportedly did not discuss specific players or transfers with Middle Eastern clubs. However, he likely established connections in preparation for the upcoming transfer window.

While Jesus could potentially move to the Saudi Pro League, he is also expected to attract interest from European clubs given his track record as a top striker in England when healthy.

Arteta may be disappointed by the possibility of Jesus leaving Arsenal, as he has enjoyed working with the player despite his injury struggles throughout the season.

Jesus may consider moving to the Saudi Pro League, where many big-name stars have gone, but he is also likely to attract interest from European clubs. He has shown his quality as a top striker in England when he is fit and in form.

Arteta might be upset about the possibility of Jesus leaving north London, as he reportedly enjoys coaching him. However, injuries have prevented Jesus from being available for long periods during the season.

Recently, Jesus mentioned that he cannot recall the last time he played without feeling pain, and he might require additional surgery in the upcoming summer. This situation raises doubts about his participation in the Copa America with Brazil.

Jesus expressed his feelings about his knee, stating, “At times, I can feel it. I can’t recall the last time I played football without experiencing pain. However, I strive to maintain mental strength.”

When asked about the possibility of another forward joining Arsenal in the upcoming season, Jesus responded, “The decision of whether they want to bring in another forward or not lies with them. It’s not for me to answer. My focus is on training diligently and enhancing my own abilities. Speculation will inevitably persist.”
