After missing the game against Nottingham Forest due to injury, an Arsenal player was observed training on Monday.

Arsenal midfielder Myles Lewis-Skelly has resumed training today following an injury that prevented him from participating in the 3-0 win against Nottingham Forest on Saturday, as reported by former Sky Sports producer Connor Humm.

Humm, known for his timely updates on Arsenal and followed by notable figures such as Dharmesh Sheth, Ryan Taylor, and Fabrizio Romano, shared a video showing the Hale End academy product back on the pitch.

Lewis-Skelly’s return to training is a positive development, especially as only Benjamin White and Takehiro Tomiyasu remain sidelined with injuries.

Manager Mikel Arteta will be eager for favorable news as the team approaches a demanding festive schedule.

With limited downtime between matches until the next international break in March 2025, having Lewis-Skelly back is a significant advantage.

The 18-year-old has made all six of his appearances this season as a substitute, primarily playing at left-back, and his adaptability will be crucial with two key defenders unavailable.

Arsenal will face Sporting CP in the Champions League tomorrow, followed by a match against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Saturday.

The team has a packed schedule ahead, with seven matches across three competitions in December and another seven in January, necessitating a fully available squad for depth.

Lewis-Skelly, along with a few other young players, is likely to see increased playing time in the upcoming days and weeks, as some first-team players may need to rest, and they will be eager to seize these opportunities.

Arsenal continues to compete for the Premier League title and is also making significant strides in other tournaments.

However, it is yet to be determined if they intend to strengthen their squad with new signings when the transfer window opens in January.
