Arsenal lineup vs Aston Villa possible : Trossard & Jesus in Kiwior dropped in 3 big changes…

Kiwior has made three significant changes | Anticipated Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) against Aston Villa

Arsenal will be looking to bounce back and secure a victory as they face Aston Villa in tonight’s Premier League match.

Currently trailing Manchester City by two points in the league table, the Gunners have the opportunity to reclaim their position at the top by defeating the Villans.

In preparation for the game, there may be several alterations to the line-up compared to the 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final earlier this week.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Projected Line-up:

Since mid-September, David Raya has been the undisputed starting goalkeeper for the Gunners. The Spanish goalkeeper has managed to keep 12 clean sheets in the top-flight and will be aiming for another shut-out against Unai Emery’s team.

There may be at least one change in the backline for Arsenal compared to their draw against Bayern. Jakub Kiwior had a difficult time at left-back and was partly responsible for the goals conceded. Oleksandr Zinchenko replaced him during the match and could potentially start today.

Gabriel Magalhaes was absent from yesterday’s training session at the Emirates Stadium, but we still anticipate him partnering William Saliba in the heart of the defense. Ben White is expected to be a definite starter on the right side of the four-man backline.

Jorginho struggled against Bayern, particularly with the pace of their attackers. It is unlikely that he will start three games in one week. Thomas Partey could potentially make his first start of the year in midfield alongside Declan Rice. He had a chance to provide a late assist on Tuesday.

Martin Odegaard is likely to continue in his advanced midfield position, as he has been performing well. He created five chances for his teammates in the previous match. Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz are also expected to start on the right wing and center-forward positions respectively.

However, there might be a change on the left wing. Gabriel Martinelli was not very effective against Joshua Kimmich, so he could be replaced by Leandro Trossard, who has been performing well and scored a crucial equalizer in the last two Champions League games. He also found the back of the net in the previous match against Brighton.

This is how Arsenal could potentially line up against Aston Villa.
